Bridal Gowns to Fit Each Body
Finding a simple pair of pants is a mammoth task that most women dread simply because each body is slightly different and nothing seems to fit quite right. For example, women with hourglass figures, typically noted as the ideal female shape, would look amazing in bridal gowns with a mermaid or trumpet shape, A-line or princess cuts, or column and sheath fits. Almost the same styles can be said of tall or thin women with a ball gown added to the list in place of a princess cut.
For the fuller figured woman, which also includes apple and pear shapes, the classic A-line and princess cut is a first choice for a recommendation as it whittles the waist then flairs out around the body to create a sleek silhouette. Other options to try are the ball gown and empire waist. Both mimic the contours of the princess cut with the trim waist and full skirt. These styles help to create balanced proportions for the body.
This same style guide can be used for bridesmaid dresses. By following certain rules, the bride and her maids can turn their long hunt for a dress into a few afternoons at their favorite shops. By knowing her body type from the start, all women involved can avoid the headache of wasting time on styles that are never going to be flattering and focus on what will make them stand out at their best. The rules can even help the bridal party find bridesmaid dresses that could possibly be used after the wedding has come and gone.
